英文品名：DONG BANGDA, LAYERED PEAKS AND PINE VALLEYS, INK ON PAPER, HANGING SCROLL 尺寸：L:160cm;W:54cm 紙本墨筆，立軸。圖繪重巒疊嶂，長松茂密，山間草亭山居錯落，溪水蜿蜒而出。山石以乾筆皴擦，點苔濃重，峰巒層次向背分明。畫右上題七言律詩一首，款署臣董邦達。用筆松秀渾厚，得四王正傳，為清初宮廷山水面貌，紙墨蒼潤。董邦達（1699–1769），字孚存，號東山，浙江富陽人。雍正十一年進士，乾隆間官至禮部尚書。工山水，出董其昌及四王一脈，乾筆皴擦，蒼潤松秀，供奉內廷，屢獲高宗題詠。為清初正統派宮廷山水代表。 A hanging scroll, ink on paper. Layered peaks rise amid dense pines, thatched pavilions and mountain dwellings scattered among the hills, a stream winding out below. The rocks are textured with dry brushwork and dense moss dots, the ridges modelled with clear light and shade. A seven-character regulated poem is inscribed at the upper right, signed by the court painter Dong Bangda. The brushwork is relaxed and substantial. Dong Bangda (1699–1769), style name Fucun, hao Dongshan, from Fuyang, Zhejiang, became a jinshi in 1733 and rose under the Qianlong Emperor to Vice-minister of Rites. He painted landscapes in the orthodox line of Dong Qichang and the Four Wangs, using dry brushwork with a mellow, relaxed touch; he served in the palace and was repeatedly honoured by imperial inscriptions.
