英文品名：DONG YUAN, AUTUMN RIVERSCENE, INK AND COLOUR ON SILK, HANGING SCROLL 尺寸：L:70cm;W:66cm 絹本設色，立軸。圖繪江河大景，兩岸峰巒逶迤，汀渚蜿蜒，村舍點綴其間。山石以青綠設色，皴法鬆和，秋林葉樹點以丹赭，煙嵐繚繞。絹地古沉，天頭地桿裝裱華美。畫幅上方鈐朱文鑑藏印。此圖開闊平遠，寫江南秋山江景，氣象蒼茫。董源，一作董元，南唐鐘陵人，後主李煜朝為北苑副使，故人稱董北苑。其寫江南峰巒，不似北派剛硬，而以淡墨輕嵐出之，創披麻皴、落茄點。巨然師之而自成面目，後世稱「董巨」，為南宗山水之祖。此軸江河平遠，正其典型家法。 A hanging scroll, ink and colour on silk. A broad river landscape unfolds, peaks rolling along both banks, sandbars winding and village houses dotted among them. The rocks are rendered in blue-green with soft texture strokes, autumn trees accented in russet and ochre amid swirling mist. The silk is antique in tone, the mounting ornate. A red collector seal is placed at the top. The composition is wide and level. Dong Yuan served the Southern Tang court of Li Yu as Rectifier of the Northern Park. Instead of the hard northern manner, he painted the Yangtze hills in light ink and pale mist, creating the hemp-fibre texture stroke and the dotting later called luoqie. Juran inherited and developed his manner; together they are Dong-Ju, the founders of the Southern landscape school, and this broad river scene is in their classic mode.
