民國 新粉彩秋菊圖賞盤“王步”款

英文品名：A REPUBLICAN-PERIOD NEW FAMILLE-ROSE CHRYSANTHEMUM DISH, SIGNED WANG BU 尺寸：D:30cm;H:5cm 粉彩敞口盤，圈足。盤心繪新粉彩秋菊：叢菊數株，黃白相間，枝葉扶疏，旁題詩句並鈐「王步」朱文印。設色淡雅，筆意瀟灑，為民國景德鎮新粉彩名品。王步（一八九八–一九六八），江西豐城人，景德鎮青花大家，亦工粉彩。其秋菊取陶淵明「採菊東籬下」之意，喻君子清高不屈。新粉彩於傳統粉彩上吸收廣東外銷瓷與日本瓷影響，色彩更薄、更嬌，構圖更近國畫。此盤題詩鈐印，是瓷板畫在圓盤上的延伸，文房陳設佳品。 A famille-rose dish with flared rim, painted at the centre with autumn chrysanthemums: several clumps, yellow and white, leaves spread, with a poetic inscription and a red Wang Bu seal. The palette is restrained and the brushwork free. Wang Bu (1898–1968), from Fengcheng Jiangxi, was the great Jingdezhen master of underglaze blue and also worked in fencai. His chrysanthemums allude to Tao Yuanming's gathering chrysanthemums by the eastern fence, symbolising the integrity of the recluse. New fencai, influenced by Canton export and Japanese porcelain, uses thinner, softer colours and a more painterly composition. The inscribed poem and seal turn the dish into a painting on porcelain for the studio.
