英文品名：A MING LARGE WUCAI CHARGER WITH DRAGONS AMONGST SCROLLING LOTUS, BEARING A JIAJING MARK 尺寸：D:69cm;H:11cm 五彩侈口大盤，圈足。盤心繪五彩雲龍紋：盤龍一尾穿行於纏枝蓮間，龍身以釉下青花勾線，填紅、綠、黃、紫諸彩。盤壁飾纏枝蓮與雲鶴。器底青花六字“大明嘉靖年製”雙圈款。色彩濃麗，為嘉靖朝五彩名品。嘉靖五彩是明代彩瓷高峰，以釉下青花與釉上紅、綠、黃、紫彩結合，對比強烈。龍紋多作穿花龍，穿行於蓮花、牡丹間。嘉靖帝好長生、崇道教，瓷器多繪雲鶴、八卦、老子講經，盤壁雲鶴即取仙鶴長壽之意。此器盤心盤龍、盤壁雲鶴，是嘉靖朝常見之紋樣組合。 A large wucai charger with everted rim. The centre is painted with a dragon amid scrolling lotus: the dragon outlined in underglaze blue and filled with overglaze red, green, yellow and violet. The cavetto carries scrolling lotus and cranes. The base bears a six-character Jiajing mark in a double circle. Jiajing wucai is a peak of Ming polychrome, combining underglaze blue with overglaze red, green, yellow and violet in strong contrast. Dragons often pass through flowers, dragon-among-lotus. The Jiajing emperor's Daoist pursuit of long life made cranes, bagua and Laozi subjects common; cranes on the cavetto denote longevity. The coiled dragon and crane combination is a common motif of the Jiajing reign.
