英文品名：A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE TUMBLER CUPS WITH A LADY AND POETIC INSCRIPTION, THE BASE BEARING A FOUR-CHARACTER FUSHOU RUYI MARK 尺寸：H:8.5cm 一對馬蹄式高杯，直身斂足。杯身一面繪仕女佇立花樹園庭中，衣飾華美；另一面書楷書「極目胡沙滿傷心漢月圓」，下鈐紅彩方印。口沿及近足處各飾萬花錦邊一週。底書礬紅「福壽如意」四字方款。畫面娟秀，詩畫相映。杯上題句「極目胡沙滿傷心漢月圓」，詠王昭君出塞之事。漢元帝竟寧元年，宮女王嬙，字昭君，奉命遠嫁匈奴呼韓邪單于，戎服乘馬，出雁門，入荒漠，後世譽為「寧胡閼氏」。歷代詩詞、戲曲、繪畫多取此題，明妃辭宮、馬上彈琵琶為經典場景。瓷杯一面繪仕女佇立花樹，一面題詩，詩畫相發，寄託士人對和親往事之憑弔。 A pair of tall tumbler cups with straight sides and a small foot. One side of each is painted with a lady in a garden beneath a flowering tree, her robes elegantly rendered; the reverse bears a kaishu inscription, gazing across the barbarian sands, the Han moon rounds in vain, followed by red seals. The rim and foot are edged with scattered-flower brocade bands. The base bears a red four-character mark fushou ruyi. The inscription on the cup refers to the story of Wang Zhaojun. In 33 BCE the Han court lady Wang Qiang, styled Zhaojun, was sent in marriage to the Xiongnu chanyu Huhanye, riding forth from Yanmen Pass into the desert. Later poets, playwrights and painters took her as a subject, the classic scene being the imperial consort leaving the palace and playing the pipa on horseback. On this cup a lady is painted on one side and the poem on the other, evoking the literati's reflective view on the historical peace-making marriage.
