英文品名：A QING WUCAI COVERED JAR PAINTED WITH SCHOLARS AT AN ELEGANT GATHERING 尺寸：L:20cm;H:30cm 大口鼓腹蓋罐，帶圓鈕拱形蓋。器身通景繪五彩人物：眾文士身著紅、綠、藍綵衣袍，或坐或立，相聚於蕉石庭園之間，旁置書卷香爐。頸部繪蕉葉紋，肩部飾冰梅紋，足牆綠彩蕉葉紋。蓋面繪青花山水。繪工細膩，人物神態悠閒。器身所繪眾文士相聚蕉石庭園，旁設書卷香爐，屬「雅集」題材。歷史上最負盛名者為西晉石崇金谷園宴、東晉王羲之蘭亭修禊、北宋王詵西園雅集，皆文人飲酒賦詩、品賞古玩之會。此類題材於明清瓷器上常見，眾人或撫琴、或觀畫、或清談，場面悠閒，寄託士人對林下風流之嚮往。蕉葉與湖石為江南庭園典型佈景。 A large ovoid jar with a domed cover and knop. The body is painted in wucai with a gathering of scholars in red, green and blue robes, seated or standing among banana leaves and garden rocks, with scrolls and censers nearby. The neck has a banana-leaf border, the shoulder a cracked-ice prunus pattern, and the foot a green banana-leaf band. The cover is painted in underglaze-blue landscape. The scene of gathered scholars among plantain leaves and garden rocks belongs to the elegant gathering theme. Historically the most celebrated such gatherings were the Jin dynasty Golden Valley banquet, the Lanting spring gathering of Wang Xizhi, and the Northern Song Western Garden gathering of Wang Shen, at which literati drank, composed poetry and connoisseurshiped antiques. This subject was widely painted on Ming and Qing porcelain, showing figures playing qin, viewing scrolls or conversing at leisure. Plantain leaves and Taihu rocks are typical of southern Chinese gardens.
