明 青花嬰戲圖大捧盒“大明嘉靖年製”款

英文品名：A MING LARGE BLUE-AND-WHITE COVERED BOX WITH BOYS AT PLAY, BEARING A JIAJING MARK 尺寸：D:24cm;H:15cm 青花圓形大捧盒，蓋身相合。蓋面與器身滿繪青花嬰戲圖：眾孩童於園庭中嬉戲，或舉旗、或放鳶、或捉迷藏，亭臺、樹石、欄杆錯落。蓋沿與器肩飾一週纏枝蓮。器底青花雙圈六字「大明嘉靖年製」款。青花呈色濃豔，人物眾多而佈局井然，為明代嘉靖大器。捧盒為盛貯點心、首飾之具，雙手捧持，故稱捧盒。嘉靖朝道教盛行，皇帝好長生，瓷器多繪八仙、八卦、老子講經等道教題材，亦多嬰戲圖，取多子多福、皇家子嗣興旺之意。嘉靖青花用回青（西域輸入鈷料），色澤濃藍泛紫，回青與石青配比，火候適中則寶光色，是嘉靖青花典型特徵。 A large circular blue-and-white covered box, the cover and body painted all over with boys at play: crowds of children at play in a garden, carrying banners, flying kites and playing hide-and-seek among pavilions, trees and rails. A band of scrolling lotus edges the cover and shoulder. The base bears a six-character Jiajing mark in a double circle. The covered box, penghe, held sweets or jewels and was carried with both hands. The Jiajing emperor's devotion to Daoism, seeking long life, made Daoist subjects such as the Eight Immortals and bagua common, alongside boys-at-play wishing many royal heirs. Jiajing blue used huiqing cobalt imported from Central Asia, a deep blue with purple tinge; blended with shiqing and fired at the right temperature it glowed like sapphire, the mark of the period.
