英文品名：A QING FAMILLE-ROSE SCROLL-FORM PORCELAIN INK REST 尺寸：L:8.5cm;W:4cm;H:2cm 瓷質，作展開之書卷形，兩端外卷。器身白地，兩面粉彩繪山水：遠山近水，村舍小橋，舟點其間。兩端卷軸頭施礬紅彩。器形小巧，施彩清雅，為清代文房筆擱（墨床）。墨床，又稱墨架、墨臺，置於硯旁，貯磨好之墨，免墨污桌面。古代墨錠磨後餘墨尚濕，須斜置或平擱於墨床上令其自然乾燥。器形多小几式、卷書式、如意式，材質瓷、銅、玉、木皆有。書卷式墨床取文房清趣，粉彩山水取清代繪畫筆意，置於筆硯之間，與筆架、水滴、印章為伍。 A porcelain ink rest shaped as an unrolled scroll, ends curled outward. The white ground is painted on both sides in fencai with landscapes: distant hills, near water, cottages, a small bridge and a boat. The rolled ends are painted in iron-red. The ink rest, or mochuang, stands beside the inkstone to hold the inky inkstick after grinding, preventing it from soiling the desk. A used inkstick is still wet and must rest on a small rack to dry. Forms include low tables, scrolls and ruyi, in porcelain, bronze, jade or wood. The scroll form here, painted in fencai landscapes in the painted-landscape style, joined brush rest, water dropper and seals on the scholar's desk.
