英文品名：A FAMILLE ROSE WASHER WITH RESERVED PANELS OF BOYS AT PLAY, BEARING A SIX-CHARACTER QIANLONG MARK 尺寸：L:14cm;W:8cm;H:5.5cm 瓷質粉彩。器作扁圓橢形，兩側飾雙獸首銜環耳，下承鏤空珊瑚紅描金高足座。通體錦地：藍色錦地上繪開光，開光內繪庭院嬰戲圖——二童子戲魚於欄畔，荷花池水點綴其間；開光外繪花卉紋。器身兩側獸耳塗珊瑚紅並描金。高足座作海棠式鏤空，卷草紋描金。底白釉，礬紅六字篆書「大清乾隆年製」款。整器工細華縟，為清代粉彩文房用具。「開光」是瓷器裝飾常見手法：先在器身滿繪錦地，再於其上留出圓、委角、海棠形等輪廓，於開光內繪主題人物、花鳥，形成「錦地開光」。其工序繁複，須先細筆滿填錦紋，再於留白處精繪人物，前後數十筆。鏤空高足座則於坯胎未乾時以鑽孔或透雕法鏤出卷草紋，燒成後玲瓏透氣，多作手爐、花薰底座。 A porcelain famille rose washer in a flattened oval form, with two beast-head ring handles and an openwork coral-red gilt stand. The body is covered in a blue brocade ground around reserved panels painted with boys at play by a lotus pond, while the flanking areas carry floral sprays. The beast handles are coral-red and gilt, and the shaped stand is pierced and decorated with gilt scrollwork. The base is white and bears an iron-red six-character seal-script mark of the Qianlong period. Dense and refined, it is a Qing polychrome desk utensil. Reserved panel, or kaiguang, is a common porcelain decoration method: the body is first covered with a dense brocade ground, then circular, lobed or quatrefoil outlines are left blank and painted with the main subject, figures or birds and flowers. The work is demanding: the brocade must be filled in meticulously, then the figure painted within the reserved outline. The openwork stand beneath was pierced while the body was still leather-hard, so that the finished base is both delicate and ventilated; such pierced stands often support hand-warmers or incense burners.
