英文品名：A GREEN JADE STANDING BUFFALO, QING DYNASTY 尺寸：L:20cm;H:8cm 此擺件為青玉圓雕，水牛站立，昂首遠眺，雙角彎曲，四足立地，尾蜷於臀側。玉色青灰溫潤，局部留黃褐色玉皮浸色。刀法圓渾古樸，造型沉穩。為清代青玉牛擺件。牛，在傳統文化中象徵勤勞、敦厚、祥瑞。老子騎青牛出函谷關，為道教始祖；「老子出關」玉雕常見。又牛諧「扭」，寓意扭轉乾坤；牛馱寶，寓意財源廣進。青玉溫潤，最宜把件，經久摩挲包漿愈亮。 This green jade buffalo stands alert, head raised, curved horns, four feet planted, tail curled at the flank. The stone is a warm greyish green, russet skin retained. The carving is rounded and archaic, the pose steady. It is a Qing green-jade buffalo. The buffalo symbolizes diligence, honesty and good fortune. Laozi rode a green buffalo through the Hangu Pass, the Daoist sage; jade 'Laozi leaving the pass' carvings are common.
