英文品名：A PAIR OF GREENISH-WHITE JADE CIGARETTE HOLDERS, QING 尺寸：Right: L:4cm / Left: L:3.5cm 青白玉煙嘴一對。兩件大小略異，右長四公分，左長三點五公分。煙嘴作細長圓柱形，上端寬沿，下端平齊。一作乳白色，一作淡青白色，玉質溫潤拋光，為清代煙具佩件。煙嘴銜於旱煙桿之首，以玉為之，取清貴而不燙口。清代男子多佩旱煙袋，煙嘴以玉、瑪瑙、翡翠為貴，一對者多為成對佩用或賞玩。玉煙嘴小巧溫潤，便於腰間懸掛，亦掌中清玩。 A pair of greenish-white jade cigarette holders. The two differ slightly in size, the right 4 cm and the left 3.5 cm long. Each is a slender cylinder with a widened rim at the top and a flat lower end; one is milky white, the other pale greenish-white, the stone warm and polished. A Qing tobacco accessory pair. The holder fits the mouthpiece of a long pipe; jade ones were prized for elegance and for keeping the mouth cool. Qing men commonly carried long pipes; jade, agate or jadeite holders were the most valued, and a pair was kept for use or appreciation. Small and smooth, jade holders hung at the waist and were also hand playthings.
