英文品名：A QING NECKLACE OF HETIAN WHITE JADE PEBBLES 尺寸：Irregular sizes 白玉籽料項鏈。珠作不規則橄欖形，就和田白玉天然籽料打磨而成，玉色溫白瑩潤，局部帶淡褐皮色。珠串末段綴紅玉髓小珠數十顆，並以橙色繩結束，為清代玉珠佩飾。籽料為和田河中天然滾磨之玉，形隨水勢，無人工規矩。清代佩項多取籽料隨形珠，不追求正圓，而保留天然輪廓。串項以紅玉髓為隔珠與佛頭，取紅白相映。此類項鏈既作頸飾，亦兼作念佛掛珠之用。 A necklace of white jade pebbles. The irregular olive-shaped beads are polished from natural Hetian white jade river pebbles, warm white with faint russet skin. Near the end are small red carnelian beads and an orange cord knot. A Qing jade bead necklace. Pebble material is jade naturally rounded in the Hetian rivers, unshaped by man. Qing necklaces often used such irregular pebbles rather than uniform round beads, keeping their natural outline. Red carnelian served as spacer and guru beads, setting off the white. Such necklaces served both as neck adornment and as prayer beads.
