清 竹雕深浮雕赤壁泛舟人物筆筒“其吉”款

英文品名：A BAMBOO BRUSH POT CARVED IN RELIEF WITH A RIVER JOURNEY, BEARING A QIJI MARK 尺寸：D:15cm;H:16cm 竹雕。筆筒通景深浮雕：崇山疊嶂，松樹點其間，江水浩蕩，一舟盪於波上，舟中士人或坐或立，童子相伴。波濤、山石、松針層層深峻，竹色赭紅，包漿溫厚，器壁陰刻行書「己亥秋日」並「其吉」款。圖中江中泛舟，即東坡泛舟赤壁之意。蘇軾前後《赤壁賦》寫月夜與客泛舟大江，誦明月之詩，歌窈窕之章，感慨逝者如斯。此題材明清竹刻、瓷繪常見，取文人曠達。 A bamboo brush pot carved all round in deep relief: layered mountains with pines, a broad river, and a small boat on the waves carrying seated and standing scholars with an attendant boy. Waves, rocks and pine needles are cut in deep layers; the bamboo is ochre-red with warm patina, the wall incised with a cyclical date, jihai qiuri, and the signature Qiji. The boating scene alludes to Su Shi's boat trip on the Red Cliff. In his two Red Cliff rhapsodies the poet drifts by moonlit river with friends, chanting of the moon and reflecting on the flowing water. This subject was common on Ming-Qing bamboo carvings, evoking the literatus's broad-minded ease.
