清 銅獸面紋方鼎式爐連蓋

英文品名：A QING BRONZE DING-FORM CENSER WITH TAOTIE MASKS AND COVER 尺寸：H:17cm 銅鑄。方形鼎式爐，雙沖天耳，四柱足。器身四面浮雕獸面紋，以回紋為地，紋帶上下夾以蕉葉。上配隆頂器蓋，蓋面飾獸體紋，頂設桃形鈕。銅皮墨黑瑩亮，局部露褐紅胎骨。鼎為上古禮器，方鼎四足，尤見端莊。雙沖天耳直立，四柱足穩立，器身四面獸面紋夾蕉葉帶，威儀森然。隆頂器蓋上飾獸體紋，頂設桃形鈕，桃取壽意；香燃鼎中，氣自蓋縷出。此器置於廳堂香几，焚香清供，端莊沉穆。 A square bronze ding-form censer with two upright handles and four cylindrical feet. Each side is cast in relief with a taotie mask on a key-fret ground, framed by banana-leaf bands. It is fitted with a domed cover cast with scrolling beasts and a peach-shaped knop. The black patina shows brown-red undertones where worn. The ding is an ancient ritual vessel, and the square ding on four feet conveys particular dignity. Upright handles rise above, four columnar feet stand firm, and the taotie masks framed by banana-leaf bands on all sides are solemn. The domed cover carries beast scrolls and is crowned by a peach-shaped knop, the peach wishing long life; incense burns within, smoke rising through the cover. Set on a hall stand, the censer burns with sober dignity.
