清 銅螭龍耳瑞獅鈕三足熏爐連木座

英文品名：A BRONZE TRIPOD INCENSE BURNER WITH CHI-DRAGON HANDLES, LION FINIAL AND COVER, ON A WOOD STAND 尺寸：H:40cm 銅鑄。熏爐碩腹斂口，頸部飾弦紋，兩肩設螭龍雙耳，下承三獸面蹄足。上配圓頂隆蓋，蓋面鏤刻團壽紋，蓋頂蟠伏一瑞獅為鈕。下配硬木圓座。銅皮墨黑瑩潤，器形端穩。此爐為清代廳堂供爐，置於香幾或供桌，內燃香餅、香丸，煙自蓋上鏤孔縷縷透出。蓋頂瑞獅為鈕，既便啟閉，亦增威儀；配硬木圓座，陳設益顯完整。三足鼎式，取古雅之意。 A bronze tripod censer with a bulbous body, a cordoned neck and two chi-dragon handles on the shoulders, raised on three beast-head hoof feet. It is covered by a domed lid pierced with a round shou-character medallion and surmounted by a recumbent lion finial. A fitted hardwood stand accompanies it. The black patina is mellow and the form balanced. This is a Qing hall censer, placed on a stand or altar table and filled with compressed incense cakes or pills; smoke escapes through the openwork cover. The lion knop both lifts the cover and adds solemnity; on its fitted hardwood stand the burner reads as a complete furnishing. The tripod ding form follows ancient bronze prototypes.
