清 銅雁形香薰

英文品名：A BRONZE GOOSE-FORM INCENSE BURNER 尺寸：H:30cm 銅鑄。香薰作雁鴨形，曲頸昂首，喙微張，一身豐碩，雙足立地。雙翅浮雕羽翎為蓋，可啟合；尾平展。銅皮墨黑瑩潤，羽脈清晰，造型溫雅生動。鴨形香薰又稱香鴨，唐宋以來置於書齋閨閣，燃香其內，煙自喙、尾縷出。鴨諧甲音，又取春江水暖之意，文人以此伴讀，閨中以此薰衣。造型寫實而不失古雅。 A bronze incense burner in the form of a goose or duck with curved neck, raised head and slightly open beak, standing on webbed feet. The wings, cast in feathered relief, lift off as the cover, and the tail is flattened. The black patina is lustrous, quills finely detailed. Duck burners have stood in studios and boudoirs since the Tang-Song: incense burns inside and smoke drifts from the beak and tail. The duck also homophonically suggests rank, and the image of the warm river in spring; scholars used them while reading, gentlefolk to scent robes.
