英文品名：A GILT-BRONZE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL STEPPED FIVE-DRAWER CABINET WITH POETIC INSCRIPTIONS 尺寸：L:38cm;W:13cm;H:12cm 銅胎鎏金掐絲琺瑯。器作錯落式多屜長方盒，分上下兩層，共五屜，屜面皆天藍琺瑯地，掐絲纏枝蓮、蝙蝠紋，周邊起回紋錦地，屜門飾鎏金獸首銜環拉手。背板陰刻行書長篇詩文，末署干支年款並綴印章。下承鎏金回紋足。琺瑯色澤明快，金鏤清晰，為清代文房多寶盒。多屜百寶盒、官皮箱為文房貯具，用以盛筆、墨、硃砂、印泥、小型文具。清代宮廷及大宅常用紫檀、雕漆、掐絲琺瑯作此類小櫃式盒，屜面分飾圖案，既實用又華美。此件錯落式五屜，取步步高昇錯落之勢，背板刻詩文，更添書卷氣，置於案頭，與筆筒、硯盒並列。 A gilt-bronze cloisonné enamel stepped, two-level rectangular cabinet with five drawers; each drawer front has a turquoise enamel ground with cloisonné scrolling lotus and bats, bordered by keyfret, and fitted with a gilt lion-mask ring handle. The back panel is incised with a long running-script poem, ending in a cyclical date and a seal. The feet are gilt with keyfret. The enamels are bright and the gilt wires crisp. Multi-drawer compartment boxes stored brushes, ink, cinnabar and ink-paste on the scholar's desk. The Qing court and large households made such small cabinet-boxes in zitan, carved lacquer or cloisonné, each drawer decorated separately, as practical and beautiful objects. The stepped five-drawer form here also alludes to rising step by step, while the poetic back panel adds a literary note; it stood on the desk beside brush pots and ink boxes.
